Frequently Asked Questions

Applications can be submitted in three ways. You can

  1. Apply directly online at careers@universalcompanies.org;
  2. Apply in person at one of our locations;
  3. Submit your resume to our recruitment team at careers@universalcompanies.org.

Applying online is the preferred method because applications are typically more quickly reviewed, and you will also be considered for any other additional positions at Universal Companies for which you may qualify. Applying on-line to a specific posted position will also ensure quicker consideration from our recruitment team.

The time will differ from position to position depending on the urgency to fill. However, in general, we try to look at all applications/resume within 48-72 hours. If an applications is received after the position has moved to the interview phase, or if we’ve received an extremely large volume of responses, your application review may take longer. If the position has been filled, and you’ve used our online application process, we can keep your profile in our system for our staffing team to pull for consideration for future openings.

Once your application is reviewed and it is determined that you are qualified for the position, the recruiter will contact you directly to set up interviews. Once all candidates are interviewed and a decision is made, those candidates that are interviewed will be given the appropriate response. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications that we receive, we are unable to provide an individual response to every candidate.

If you have applied online, your application will stay active in our resume database for a year and you may log back in to change any information or apply for new job postings that interest you.

You can as long as you provided adequate notice, left in good standing and were deemed eligible for rehire by the local program you worked for previously.

Yes, unless you specify otherwise when applying.
